The Crescent Awards recognises Muslim learners, educators and Islamic schools that demonstrate excellence and contribute in diverse fields.

Crescent Awards recognises inspired Muslim educators, learners and schools who are paving the way for a brighter future for Australia’s Muslim community and Australia at large.

The emphasis of the awards is the holistic development of Australia’s Muslims as contributors to society.  

The Crescent Awards is an initiative of the Crescent Foundation with the generous sponsorship of Crescent Wealth and Islamic Relief Australia.

Gala Dinner

The 3-course gala dinner will be held on the 6th of August 2022 at the beautiful scenic  Waterview, Bicentennial Park, Bicentennial Dr, Sydney Olympic Park.

High-level Timeline

30 May 2022 – 30 June 2022

Nominations are open for the categories of learner, educator, educator team, and school. The nomination period will close on 30th of June, at 5:00 PM sharp. 

25 July 2022 – 31 July 2022

Selected finalists will be notified between 25th July and 31 July (particularly early for those who need to organise interstate travel arrangements). 

06 August 2022

The inaugural Crescent Awards Gala Dinner will be held on 6 August 2022 at 6.30 PM, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia at Waterview Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park
